I am a portrait, fine art and commercial photographer based in Seattle. Born in Seoul, S. Korea and raised in the Pacific Northwest.

After a 12 year long career in marketing and advertising, I decided to take a leap of faith as a freelancer photographer. I have over 20 years of experience in a wide range academic, commercial, fine art and editorial projects. My approach remains rooted in connection, curiosity, and compassion. I strive to uplift people's spirit by making them feel seen and valued through my images.

My work has been exhibited in the Henry Art Museum, Nino Studio, Fogue Gallery and Claire Oliver Gallery. Shortlisted as a finalist in the 2024 Communication Arts Photography competition, Official Selection and Honorable Mention in 2023 in the International Photography Awards amongst 14k entries.

Currently focused on completing 100 artist portraits for my award winning personal series Abstracting Artists.

The following short film was made for the Wing Luke Museum’s Oral History Archive project, and tells the story of our immigration to Seattle, the hardships we overcame, and my first and most important artistic influence, my Mom.
