My name is Sung Kyun Park. I am a photographer and filmmaker based in Seattle. I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Edmonds, a sleepy seaside town just outside of Seattle.

I have over 24 years of experience in a wide range commercial, non-profit, fine art and editorial projects. My approach remains rooted in connection, curiosity, and compassion. I strive to uplift people's spirit by making them feel seen and valued through my images.

I started my professional career in marketing and advertising, first at Microsoft, then at ad agencies in Seattle, San Francisco and New York. I decided to leave corporate life behind while living in NY, to pursue my dream of working full time as a photographer.

My work has been exhibited in the Henry Art Gallery, Nino Studio, Base Camp, Fogue Gallery, Insa Art Center in Seoul and Claire Oliver Gallery, published in the Seattle Times, Seattle Met Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Geekwire, and more. Shortlisted as a finalist in the 2024 Communication Arts Photography competition, 1st place at the 2024 and 2026 Edmonds Arts Festival (the longest running art festival in Washington), Official Selection and Honorable Mention in 2023 in the International Photography Awards amongst 14k entries.
