What is the process for my headshots?

Step 1: Consultation
Before we schedule your headshot session, I take the time to answer any questions you may have, clothing styling recommendations, and can even arrange a professional makeup and hair artist for you.

Step 2: Book your Session
My studio is located in Ballard at 2221 NW 56th St, conveniently accessible by car and public transit. I am open monday through friday between 9am-6pm, with weekends available on request. I can also come to your home or office!

Step 3: Choose your Retouches
After your headshot session, you will receive a photo gallery to pick your retouches within 3-5 business days. You can specify how much you’d like the photos edited, and areas of focus.

I recommend setting aside 1-2 hours for your headshot session. If you’re in a hurry, we can get you in and out in an hour or less, but most people need a little time to warm up in the beginning.

My most popular package is up two hours, 2-3 outfit changes, and 3 retouches for $850. If you only need one headshot image, I offer a low price option of $450 for one hour, one outfit and one retouch.

Yes! This is an add-on service, starting at $250 for makeup and hair. Wardrobe styling and even personal shopping services are available as well! Inquire during your free consultation to learn more.

Drink plenty of water!
Moisturize your face.
Don’t drink alcohol and get plenty of sleep before your session.
Don’t worry about skin blemishes and eye irritations, as these can be removed in retouching.
De-lint and iron the clothes you are wearing. We also have a clothing steamer and lint brush on premises.

Recommend bringing at least 2-3 different tops for your headshot session. Avoid busy patterns, solid tones that are complimentary to your skin tone work best for headshots. Inquire during your consultation for specific styling recommendations.
